Musa

Musa, born 1994, joined 2006, attended our seminars as head of a sibling family in our Outreach programme. He was providing for and protecting four younger children (instead of attending school). His natural leadership skills make him an excellent role model. Then stunted by malnutrition, Musa joined the local primary school, and studied so hard that he ended up doing very well in Standard 7, and being awarded a placement in an excellent boarding school. Musa will start Form 2 in January 2011. His ambition is to become a pilot.

Kiza

born 1992 joined January, 2004

Kiza joined the project at the house in Tabata through a board member. Both parents are deceased and he is youngest of 8 siblings, one of whom he keeps close contact. Kiza arrived having never been in school. Now his English is very good, and he is starting Form 3 in a government boarding school several hours away from home. Kiza’s behaviour has improved immensely over the years, and is now a serious student and good role model. He hopes to be an engineer.
